My beautiful, PINK camera broke! I mean, REALLY broke. That thing is dead! So I've been searching for a replacement... and a safer place to keep my camera other than the top of the fridge.
Now, what camera to choose? Well, I've made a few allusions about my COLOR-obsessed life here & here. So when I found a $100 camera, that had a dual-view (extra screen in front) that came in PURPLE I was S-O-L-D. Purple??? That has only been my fave color since I was 6!
Well, I have purchased this camera from 3 different websites, all with the same answer: It's gone, and it's not coming back! Noooo!!! I've found one left at Amazon for $80 more. That's a big mark-up for a $100 camera. Right? Don't tease me, I might just go back and buy it. ;)
So, tomorrow, I'm going to Best Buy to purchase this camera in BLACK. Plain, old black. Don't worry about me. I'm coming to terms about having a not-cute camera. Every cell phone I've ever had I chose SOLELY on color. He! He! And I haven't switched to my new toothbrush from my dentist for 3mos because it has boy colors. Oh dear, there may be something wrong with me...
Well, wish me luck! And if perhaps you see me with this camera, it wouldn't hurt if you said you thought it was cute!

Amy, I TOTALLY bought the cutest case there! LoL! Polka dot! I'm loving some of the features on the camera (you can turn on a clown on the front screen w/silly noises) but when I'm not using it, it goes straight in that cute case! :)
I just bought my new PURPLE Nikon camera from Costco. It was 100.00. Bummer I didn't read the post earlier. ;) I'm sure you bought a great camera. You always do your homework. That is why I bought the same camera as you last time. :) I got a new camera because my sister didn't have a camera.
