9 Months!!!

SadieBug is 9 MONTHS OLD! Wow! I can't believe it! Here's the Sadie update:

Height: 29&1/4in (97th% still!)
Weight: 18lbs 7oz (50%)

Sadie is definitely getting a mind of her own! She's DONE with baby food, not by my choice. :) She's sick of the mush!

She has no desire to crawl. She does roll around. And she arches her back & scoots. BUT, this girl is CLOSE to walking! She walks just holding on to one of my fingers. I don't even support her, she just holds on for comfort. Once she finds the guts to let go, I don't think I'll ever see her again!

The weekend after turning 8mos, she decided she can do tricks. At 8mos she was doing: "So Big," claps, waves, kisses.

There is debate in the talking-department. It sounds like she says, "Hot Dog" when Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is on. She screams "Mom" only when she knows I'm near and I'm choosing not to hold her. And I'm pretty sure she's says "DaDaDa" for Cory. She also says "bah-bah" for bottle. And just barely she'll say one short "bah" for up!

I'm just in shock at how quickly she's changing from baby to toddler! Where did my baby go?

3 is more than 1

I've been watching my two nieces once a week so my sister, Amanda, can do taxes (she's a CPA). Sadie and I love spending time with these cuties. Sade flaps her arms up and down when she sees them.

We do have a lot of fun, but in case you were wondering, 3 kids is in fact harder than 1.

Kennedy (almost 3) spent most of the day in her Cinderella dress. She looks so cute, I couldn't bare to make her wear normal clothes.

Yes, Sadie is on an elevated surface in her bumbo.
Please no hate comments.
The bumbo is a real lifesaver with more kids around.
While we're over there, she ends up spending
A LOT of time in the bumbo.

I try and have an art activity to do. Maddie (5) especially loves it.
Today we used glitter pens to color some Easter pictures.

A day with 3 kids wouldn't be complete without a meltdown. Today was Maddie's turn. She decided that she wanted Lucky Charms for lunch instead of the Macaroni we made at her request.
(I took this picture of her pleading with me, I don't think she even noticed the camera)

She thought she had me when she tossed her macaroni down the sink. But, I held strong. I told her now she threw her only way to get Lucky Charms down the sink. She finally believed me, and went to the sink to try and salvage her macaroni. She was going to eat it! LoL, I reheated some macaroni from the fridge. She gobbled it down happily...

And in the end, Maddie earned her Lucky Charms!
She was a peach the rest of the day!

Sitting like a Lady

When I was pregnant and we did ultrasounds, Sadie's legs were always wide open, and it was quite easy to see that she's all girl. I remember joking with Cory saying, "We'll need to teach her to sit like a lady!" Well, I guess she heard me!

If you sit Sadie down and leave her with a book or toy, you're almost sure to see her cross her feet. It's the cutest thing to see her leaning back with a good book and legs crossed.
What a lady!

We had family night at my parent's house and dyed Easter Eggs!
Sade didn't really care, but I cared for her! :)
