What does a duck say?

QUACK!!!

When Sadie started doing animal sounds a few months ago, I started thinking about Halloween. Sadie said, "Quack!" all night & even left her hood on!

Love her little duck tail!

Trick-or-treating with cousins

She LOVED every minute of it!
Happy Halloween!

Bows & a High Fat Diet

While in St. George, Kjirsten taught us how to make these super-cute bows! I love them so much, I made more bows for me than for Sadie! If she's good, I guess I'll share with her. ;) Here are some we made:

Cute, huh? I want to make more everday! Thanks so much, Kjirst, for teaching me!

In Sadie Rose news:

Today was Sadie's 15month check-up.
She's still tall, tall, tall! 95%
But don't let those Kogelschatz-cheeks fool you, she's skinnier than you think. Her weight is just over 17%...eek!!! I guess they'd rather those to numbers to be a lot closer together, as would I. She weighs 20lbs 11oz, which is only a pound more than she did at nine months.
If you've ever watched Sadie, you know she is a BAD eater, and has been since birth. -Could come from her acid reflux issues, she just doesn't find joy in meals.
So, Sadie is now on a high-fat diet! LoL, no fair! The doctor said to give her anything with fat, sugar, butter, salt, etc.

Immediately after the doctors, Sadie had her first meal of chicken nuggets, fries, and a Frosty! I *may* have had some fast food too, just to support her! ;)

P.S. Don't worry, she's not going to have fast food every day, but it's nice not to feel guilty for giving it to her!

What Every Mom Needs:

A GIRLS' TRIP!!! Bekah, Kjirsten, and I have been friends since we were 5 YEARS OLD! That's over 20 years! Even though we've gone to different colleges, lived in different states, we've kept in touch. There's even a fourth friend, Abby, who couldn't come. -Miss you, Ab! We've talked about taking a trip for a long time, and we finally just got in the car and left! -well, with some planning. We packed up the car, and headed down to St. George!

(Kjirsten, Bekah, me)
Ready to go!!! Bye Hubbies & kiddos!

First things first: SHOPPING
(these are all our clothes, not
just mine)

Cute shoes!

Movie night!
We saw "Life as we Know It" & thought of our babies at home!

(Bekah checking in at home)
Yes, we missed our cute families.

Okay, we are GEEKS! While shopping, we ended up getting a few of the same things. ...somehow that meant we needed a photo shoot...

The photo shoot continued at the temple.

People would ask why were dressed up...
we had no good answer for them. :)
We even got involved taking pictures for this wedding.

We had to get a picture of us and the bride
for memories' sake.

As if we weren't geeky enough,
we went to Walmart in our matching outfits!
We got a LOT of funny looks!

We ate, and we ate, and WE ATE!
Here we're eating homemade nachos
while watching a chick flick, and making crafts!
A girls dream!

(The House)
Sad to leave! Love ya gals!
