Our Favorite Fun Things

Cory & I have found a new game that's lots of fun! It's called Quelf. It's a really silly game that is always fun! Here are a couple pictures of us playing with our friends, Phil & Linda.

Cory had to play "air drums" during Linda's turn.

Phil had to spend an entire round under the table. I had to go to the bathroom and stay there until someone came to get me. I could hear Cory saying he thought there would be a penalty if they got me, so I sat for a WHILE! I even did some cleaning!

Sadie's having lots of fun too! These are her favorite "toys," if you can believe it:
a shoe, keys, tissues, spatula, remote, medicine dropper, and diaper cream. Whatever, girl!


Earlier, she couldn't decide on a toy she wanted. She kept throwing the ones I gave her. SOLUTION: Put her in the toy box. It worked!

New Hair

So I haven't had a haircut in almost a year! Hey, don't judge! I've been debating whether or not I wanted to grow my hair out, or keep it short. Also whether I like it my natural dark brown, or with highlights. Oh well, I'm having fun switching it up!

1st Tooth!

Can you see it??? It's easy to feel. Poor baby has been quite moody for the past few days. Most of the time, she's okay. But instead of getting a little sad when she's hungry/tired/etc, she gets really sad. Does anyone know how long she'll be cranky for?

Half Birthday

My BABY is 6 months old!!! I can't BELIEVE it! Where does the time go? Here are some fun Sadie facts for her 1/2 birthday:

*Sadie LOVES orange veggies: carrots, squash, sweet potatoes. But she hasn't loved any fruit yet, weird!
*Sadie sits up all by herself!
*She still sleeps like a champ!
*She LOVES to walk around holding our fingers. She even tries to break free!
*Sadie is still SUPER tall in the 97% and weight just above 50%
*She likes to chew her socks and suck her toes.
*Sadie is a jabbermouth, babbling all the time! I wonder where she gets that from?
*She laughs whenever we're talking on the phone, she thinks it's HILARIOUS!

We love our baby girl!

Peek-a-Boo!

Sadie learned a new game. I set her down like this:

I was turned around putting clothes away. Within a minute, I heard her babbling. I turned around to see this.
I think she was trying to tell me to stop doing chores and to
play with her!

No More Peas, Please!

We're having lots of fun trying new foods and moving on from plain, old rice. We've just begun, so up to today, Sadie had only tried carrots & sweet potatoes. Both of which she loved! She even licked her lips in anticipation! CUTE! Peas, though.... peas were a different story.

She actually ate the first half okay! She just got sick of them pretty quickly. In fairness, I don't think I would want a whole meal of peas!
