The Most Loved Baby in the World

Ashton is a great uncle!

Sadie loves being with Cory's sister, Erin!

My mom, Julie, has helped us with Sadie almost every single day! We appreciate her help more than we can say! Thanks, Mom!

Cousin Kennedy LOVES holding Sadie! She even talks to the baby in a higher voice! She walks around saying, "Hold baby! Hold Dadie!"

Cory's mom, Faith, is so excited to finally be a Granny!

Aujelle is a natural with Sadie. Sadie loves Auj!

Maddie loves having a new cousin! Amanda has been the biggest help figuring out how all this baby stuff works! Thanks, Am!

Cory is the best Daddy in world! He's a pro at diapers, and he's awesome at comforting a sad baby! I love you, Cory!

Oh yeah! I love her too!

Look how pretty!

Welcome to the World, Sadie!

She finally came! Sadie Rose Kogelschatz was born on July 20th at 9:18 pm. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Everything went perfectly, and both mommy and baby are doing very well, although a little tired!

We agreed to give you a home for 40 weeks, which has now passed. We are notifying you that your current home has grown beyond its means and will not be able to sustain you much longer. The 20th sounds so far!

Well, I just got back from the doctors! Nothing happening yet. :( My blood pressure went up again, but not high enough to induce me. <--I should have ran laps before I went in to get it higher! My feet got a little poofy so the doctor just reminded me (a couple of times) that I still have to "take it easy." Oops, I'm trying! She said that medically they don't want me to go much longer than a week past my due date. (Due date is Sunday) So, she scheduled an induction for Monday, July 20th just in case. She said that they'd be willing to do it earlier, but then it's "elective induction" which insurance doesn't like so much. Oh I hope she comes sooner than the 20th! Our bags are packed, the carseat is installed, let's get this show on the road!!!

Nursery Pics

Health Update: I got promoted! No more strict bedrest! My blood pressure dropped dramatically! Yea! That's what happens when I don't have 28kids to worry about all day, every day! The doctor still wants me to take it really easy, but I "don't have to stay in bed." I would have updated the blog earlier, but I had surprisingly little going on while on bedrest. LoL! Nothing really happens, just a lot of sitting!
I'm hoping now that I can be on my feet more, it'll speed up this baby! Due date is Sunday! CRAZY! I'm praying my doctor won't let me go overdue, at least not too far! I go in on Friday, we'll see what she says. I have been having LOTS of Braxton-Hicks contractions though! I had them the other night pretty consistently for about 6hours! Hopefully that means she's on her way!
Since I've been back on my feet, I finished decorating baby's room! I was REALLY upset that we're not allowed to paint in our apartment. :( I put as much stuff on the walls as I could to cover up the boring white! Hope you like it:

Yeah...it's definitely for a girl!

I painted the shelves and Cory hung them for me! He also did the window valance, and the crib, and the dresser! Thanks, babe! Love it!

I made the magnet board, super easy! I can't wait to put up some pictures of our little angel girl!

I love this lamp shade! Cory painted that little star case! CUTE! We went to Color Me Mine for my birthday! I painted a diamond vase, you can see it on the shelves above the dresser. I also made the pink sign above the crib. Every little girl needs some vinyl lettering, lol! It was tricky, I had to find a place online to make the letters just how I wanted them.
I'm happy with how it came out.

Here we are focusing hard at Color Me Mine. For those of you who don't know, it's a ceramic store where you pick out and paint ceramic pieces. It's a bit pricy, but so fun! I want to take baby girl and put her hand/footprints on something!
