Lovin' Liberty Park

Cory's schedule just got quite a bit better. He was working 90+hrs/week, now he's somewhere around 65hrs. His schedule changes every few weeks, so we're making it a goal to take advantage of his free time whenever possible. Liberty Park is one of our FAVE places to spend the evening. I think it's easy to see why:

Yummy dinner...well, as good as sandwiches and hotdogs can be, I guess!

It wouldn't be a night at the park without the swings.

This was Sadie's first time going through the fountains. She wasn't sure of it at first, but after she loosened up, she had a ball!

If I only knew...

FIVE years ago today I married my high school sweetheart. Oh man, there's a lot I didn't know back then...

I didn't know it would bother me that he doesn't like to use the last 1/3 of a soap bar.

It bothered me enough that we have separate soap. (I always got stuck using the small pieces)

Cory didn't know that he was marrying someone who has a minor anxiety attack at idea of getting lost. (He makes me lay my seat back in the car and close my eyes when we don't know where we're going)





I didn't know that I was getting a man sweet enough to comply with my color-coordinated closet! (Sometimes striped shirts end up in the wrong section, but he tries!)

Cory didn't know he was getting a gal willing to iron his t-shirts for him. (I'm so nice!)




We both didn't know that despite being sealed together, we'd have to spend SO MUCH time apart! (Cory was going into business when we got married, not medical school).

We also didn't know we'd make such a CUTE baby!

Speaking for myself, I definitely didn't know marriage could be this great! Thanks for the best 5yrs, Cory!
