1st Tooth!

Can you see it??? It's easy to feel. Poor baby has been quite moody for the past few days. Most of the time, she's okay. But instead of getting a little sad when she's hungry/tired/etc, she gets really sad. Does anyone know how long she'll be cranky for?

Half Birthday

My BABY is 6 months old!!! I can't BELIEVE it! Where does the time go? Here are some fun Sadie facts for her 1/2 birthday:

*Sadie LOVES orange veggies: carrots, squash, sweet potatoes. But she hasn't loved any fruit yet, weird!
*Sadie sits up all by herself!
*She still sleeps like a champ!
*She LOVES to walk around holding our fingers. She even tries to break free!
*Sadie is still SUPER tall in the 97% and weight just above 50%
*She likes to chew her socks and suck her toes.
*Sadie is a jabbermouth, babbling all the time! I wonder where she gets that from?
*She laughs whenever we're talking on the phone, she thinks it's HILARIOUS!

We love our baby girl!

Peek-a-Boo!

Sadie learned a new game. I set her down like this:

I was turned around putting clothes away. Within a minute, I heard her babbling. I turned around to see this.
I think she was trying to tell me to stop doing chores and to
play with her!

No More Peas, Please!

We're having lots of fun trying new foods and moving on from plain, old rice. We've just begun, so up to today, Sadie had only tried carrots & sweet potatoes. Both of which she loved! She even licked her lips in anticipation! CUTE! Peas, though.... peas were a different story.

She actually ate the first half okay! She just got sick of them pretty quickly. In fairness, I don't think I would want a whole meal of peas!

Christmas and More!

We had a GINORMOUS Christmas party for our little apartment. We had about 25 adults and a handful of little ones. Sadie's room was set up as "baby central" for all the little tykes.

Andrew got hemorrhoid pads in the white-elephant gift exchange! Way to be a good sport, Andrew!


The Christmas Bells were a big hit, no pun intended! ;) Thanks everyone for coming! I hope you weren't too cramped in our little place!


Sadie is now 5mos...actually she's getting closer to 6mos! She's loves sitting up! She's pretty good at it until she sees something she wants. She'll just tip right over in her quest to reach it.

It was Cory's birthday. He got drums for his Guitar Hero game & we finally got Tivo! Yea! I'm just as excited for his birthday as he is!


I got Dance Dance Revolution that I've been wanting for YEARS! Don't mind the awful mess behind me. I was too excited to play my new game!

My parents got a home in St. George. It's a cute house, I'll put some better pictures of it next time we go down. But this is what we do when we're down there. We play games. If you don't know, Cory & I love to play games! Especially with my sister & brother-in-law. This was our first time playing a game called "Puerto Rico." It has a lot of rules, but it's very fun! Anytime we could ditch our parenting responsibilities, we played games!

My little brother, Ashton was sick. My sister brought these medical masks and we made him wear it! :) Cory still managed to catch it, oops!
